Pricing for a Basic License Upgrade and License Extension Pack Upgrades from PlotLog 5 to PlotLog 6

The Basic License Upgrade for PlotLog 6 is $150, which upgrades the Basic License that you previously purchased for PlotLog 5. If you previously purchased License Extension Packs for PlotLog 5 you must also purchase License Extension Pack Upgrades for those. If you require additional License Packs to cover more seats than the original License Extension Packs covered, you must purchase License Extension Packs at the new PlotLog 6 license rates.

The following scenarios may help to clarify the pricing method:

Sample Scenario 1:
Your department currently has 14 workstations, for which you had previously purchased a Basic License for PlotLog 5 and one License Extension 10 Pack for PlotLog 5. To upgrade these workstations to PlotLog 6 you would purchase the Basic License Upgrade, which covers 5 of those workstations, and you would purchase one License Upgrade Extension 10 Pack which covers 10 additional seats. Using this arrangement, you would now have 15 seats covered by the License Agreement for the use of PlotLog 6. The total cost would be $150 + $90 for a total of $240. You could then still add another 1 workstation under your existing license.

Sample Scenario 2:
Your department currently has 17 workstations. At the time you purchased your license to use PlotLog 5 you only had 14 workstations, for which you purchased a Basic License and one License Extension 10 Pack. To upgrade the workstations that were previously covered by the license agreement for PlotLog 5 you would purchase the Basic License Upgrade, which covers 5 of those workstations. Of the remaining 7 workstations, only 5 of them would be covered by a License Upgrade Extension 5 Pack. The remaining 2 workstations would have to be covered by a License Extension 5 Pack.  Using this arrangement, you would now have 20 seats covered by the License Agreement for the use of PlotLog 6. The total cost would be $150 + $90 + $180 for a total of $420. You could then still add another 3 workstations under your existing license.

Sample Scenario 3:
Your department has 28 workstations. You would purchase the Basic License Upgrade, which covers 5 of those workstations, you would purchase one License Upgrade Extension 20 Pack for 20 additional seats, and you would purchase one License Upgrade Extension 5 Pack for 5 additional seats. Using this arrangement, you would now have 30 seats covered by the License Agreement. The total cost would be $150 + $160 + $50 for a total of $360. You could then still add another 2 workstations under your existing license.

One Basic License must be purchased for each physically distinct location within your enterprise. For example, if you have both a Facilities Management department and a Product Design department within the same building at the same address, they are considered to be two separate, physically distinct locations. In this example, each department is required to purchase a Basic License.
