PlotLog
is an add-on to AutoCAD that intercepts the AutoCAD Plot
command and displays a dialog box that lets you describe
aspects of the plot. Then it sends a record of the plot
to an ASCII file to be used for reporting and billing
clients. Any database or spreadsheet program that can
read an ASCII file can create your reports. For your convenience,
we include sample Microsoft Access databases that are pre-programmed
to create PlotLog reports.
PlotLog does not interact
with the print queues on your network, and it is only
capable of tracking plots made from within any full version
of AutoCAD 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2002, 2000i,
and 2000. This includes Map, Architectural Desktop, Mechanical,
any Desktop flavor, etc. It will not track plots from
AutoCAD LT (with the exception of AutoCAD LT 2007 under
LT Toolkit Max, available separately from drcauto.com)
or other CAD software. It will not track any printing
from other Windows programs. |
